Jesus Has Been Faithful to His Church Here

Jesus is always faithful. He was faithful to the will of the Father in our redemption in every point of prophecy and theological necessity to accomplish for us God redemptive work to pay the debt of our sins and purchase our freedom from sin, Satan, and eternal separation from God. Jesus is also faithful to all those who have received Him as their Saviour in accordance with the truth of Scripture. We may not always be faithful to our Saviour, but He is always faithful to us. Jesus is faithful to fulfill His Word in every detail. This world will pass away, we may pass away, God’s Word will not pass away; it will be fulfilled in every point and promise by our Lord. Jesus promises to build His church and that Hell’s gates will not prevail again it. Jesus is always faithful to His church. Some churches may not always be faithful to the Lord, but Jesus is always faithful to His work on earth through every church that is staying true to Him and His Word. Some churches may fold up and close, but new churches are always going to be birthed to continue Jesus’ faithfulness to His work on earth. I am thankful for every faithful member of this church now and throughout the history of the Lord’s church here in this place. For seventy years, God has been building His church here in this community through His people who have joined together to follow His Word and will as a church body of believers. The history of this church family has had many ups and downs along this journey. There have been times of more who were helping it to be faithful and other times fewer were helping it be faithful. Through it all, God has kept it going and has been working in the hearts of those who were willing to yield to His Spirit. We have been blessed with many wonderful servants of the Lord who have allowed God to use them to His glory in the past and even now in the present. God has much more that He can do in this place and that He wants to do from this place, but the question is who will be willing to be used of Him to be part of what He will do. This church was established upon the efforts of spreading the Gospel to lost souls and proclaiming the Word of God to those who will listen. That is the same plan of God that will continue to help us be faithful to our Saviour into the future until He comes for us.
