I fear too many people are living life like a pinball in a pinball machine. They just let life happen and then they react to it the best they can until the day or week or year or sadly life is over. This is understandable in a world of people lost in sin who often live according to their passions, emotions, or passing whims from moment to moment. God wants those who are His children to live life on purpose not by happenstance. God has also given His children the purpose for life in His Word, so we do not need to try to figure it out for ourselves. Sadly, too many Christian waste precious time in their life trying to figure out their purpose for themselves when God has already given it to them in His Word, but they are unaware because their Bible stays closed all week and often on Sunday as well. They live their life their way the best they can, through the lens of their understanding and wisdom collected a long their way on their journey of life, which will get them to their own end result. But God has a better plan for His children who will choose to follow His plan. God has given us His Word, His Spirit, His churches, His shepherds to help His children live the life He has given to them His way through the lens of His will guiding them in every facet of life and in every relationship in life, so they can end up where He wants them to be in the end of life being blessed by Him eternally. This is why far too many people live life day to day without any purpose and getting very little accomplished in a month or a year or a lifetime, especially anything accomplished for eternity. This is often the root cause of much of the emotional struggles people have with depression or even relational tensions. They see life passing them by and they don’t see much getting done that matters. The more I discover about the life of Charlie Kirk and the more I see the impact he had on this world in his short life of 31 years, the more impressed I am of how purposefully he lived his life day by day. He lived life intentionally even at a very young age as a teen. He knew the Lord and he followed Him and discovered what God made him to accomplish and got busy doing it until the day he died. I heard him make a statement that I have stated many times, and I was blessed to hear him say it as well. “Life is all about relationships.” This is very true and the main relationship that makes every other relationship the best it can be is a real, personal, and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord in God’s eternal family. Live life intentionally, on purpose, not accidentally.
