All hands on deck, church cleaning. Even the dog got involved.
Since Thanksgiving is on a Thursday, Japanese Ladies English class needed to be rescheduled. No worries, the class was moved to Friday and the ladies were invited to An Evening of Gratitude at Faith Baptist Church. A casual invitation to come and experience some traditional Thanksgiving foods and a church service.
What a great day! It started off with a Grandma baby video chat. Then one of our Japanese English students brought over home made pizza. It was really good. Sunday services at Faith Baptist Church Iwakuni. The morning sermon was on 2 Cor 8:7 – abound in everything. The children’s Sunday school lesson was on trusting the Lord. David is involved in the childrens church ministry. Then lunch afterwards with some fun ladies.
Celebrating our 28th Wedding Anniversary!
Awesome adventure today! We found Green Park, its about 12 miles from the house. There are lots of trails and a waterfall. It was pouring while we were there, but a little rain didn’t stop the adventure.
Did a little grocery shopping out in town. That is kind of an adventure. Lots of different foods, just not sure what some of them are or how to cook them. Fruits and vegetables on base are expensive so it is better to get them in town. Google Translate its fun and useful.
Moving Day…. We spent 9 days in the Base Lodging. Getting into the military lodge was a blessing from the Lord. There was one cancellation, just before we got here. As with our military flights, lodging on base is also Space Available. Today, we moved into the Knights beautiful house. Everyone has their own space.…
