I Corinthians 10:31 “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
Colossians 3:17 “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”
Colossians 3:23 “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
Everything in life is better when it is done according to the design of the Creator of life. God’s Word gives us the wisdom of God on how He caused everything to be and how He intends for it to proceed. God does not expect or want us to muddle through life on our own trying to figure it out as we go. That is how so much of this world is being messed up and wasted. God’s Word explains to us who we are, how we got here, where we are heading, and how best to get there. These are all of the great questions that mankind has grappled with from the beginning of time. Every facet of every day is helped by the instructions given to us from God in the Bible. Every detail that is needed to be known for success in life and in eternity is clearly stated in the Word of God. There are many things that we are not told, do not know, and are hard to figure out even with the help of the Bible. However, for the basic issues of everyday life and how to best live it to function well as a people, the Bible covers that information in great detail for clarity of understanding. The reason we are in the mess we are in today nationally and globally is because leaders have forsaken God’s Word for the most part. The reason leaders have forsaken God’s Word as a whole is because the institutions that make up the societies of the world have also forsaken God’s Word. Education as a whole, families in general, and even most of the religious training of mankind are teaching and training contrary to the principles of God’s Word and have bene for decades. This is why we are seeing many things that once were crimes and taught to be bad for our wellbeing are now becoming legal, called not so bad any more, or even good for our health. When in reality, the things themselves have not changed or have even gotten worse, but the society has been altered dramatically. I am here today to proclaim to us all that God has not changed and His true Word is still the same at it has been since He gave it to the original recorders. If we individually have any hope to be met well by God in eternity, we need to wise up to the truths of God in His Word and stop taking our ques from this evil world.
