Text: I Corinthians 15:50-58
- We cannot enjoy eternal life fully as we are – I Cor. 15:51,52
- We have eternal life now as a child of God – John 3:35; Romans 5:8-11; I John 5:10-12
- We cannot enter eternity in our temporal condition I Cor. 15:50-52; I Peter 1:3-9
- We have a promise of a changed condition before eternity. Vs. 51 & 52
- We must be changed to experience our eternal victory – I Cor. 15:53-57
- Our corruptible flesh must become incorruptible
- We must change from our mortal existence to an immortal one
- Jesus made all of this possible by His redemptive work
- We should live to God’s Glory
- Thankfully – to God for the victory we can have
- Victoriously – to God’s Glory
- Obediently – doing God’s Will on earth
- How we need to live on earth until eternity – I Cor. 15:58
- We need to be firm in our beliefs
- We need to be unmoved from our convictions
- We need to be faithful in our worship to the LORD.
Action Points:
- Do you now have the eternal victory made possible for you by Jesus?
- Are you confident in the promises God has given for eternity?
- Are you living in the power of victory that Jesus secured for you today?
