Text: I Corinthians 15:50-58

1. We cannot enjoy eternal life fully as we are –   I Cor. 15:51,52
   1. We have eternal life now as a child of God  – John 3:35; Romans 5:8-11; I John 5:10-12
   2. We cannot enter eternity in our temporal condition  I Cor. 15:50-52; I Peter 1:3-9
   3. We have a promise of a changed condition before eternity.  Vs. 51 & 52
2. We must be changed to experience our eternal victory  –  I Cor. 15:53-57
   1. Our corruptible flesh must become incorruptible
   2. We must change from our mortal existence to an immortal one
   3. Jesus made all of this possible by His redemptive work
   4. We should live to God’s Glory
      1. Thankfully – to God for the victory we can have
      2. Victoriously – to God’s Glory
      3. Obediently – doing God’s Will on earth
3. How we need to live on earth until eternity – I Cor. 15:58
   1. We need to be firm in our beliefs
   2. We need to be unmoved from our convictions
   3. We need to be faithful in our worship to the LORD.

Action Points:

• Do you now have the eternal victory made possible for you by Jesus?
• Are you confident in the promises God has given for eternity?
• Are you living in the power of victory that Jesus secured for you today?
