TEXT: Psalm 92

I. Worship is a good thing for people to do (vv. 1-3)
A. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord (v. 1a)
B. It is a good thing to give praise unto the most High God (v. 1b)
C. It is a good thing to give exposition of God’s lovingkindness (v. 2a; Lamentations 3:18-26)
D. It is a good thing to give attention to God’s faithfulness (v. 2b)
E. It is a good thing to give glory to God with godly music (v. 3)

II. Why worshipping God is a good thing for us to do (vv. 4-11)
A. The goodness of God is why we should worship Him (v. 4)
B. The greatness of God is why we should worship Him (v. 5)
C. The knowledge of God is why we should worship Him (vv. 6-8)
D. The deliverance of God is why we should worship Him (vv. 9-11)

III. Who should be doing the good thing of worshipping God (vv. 12-15)
A. Those who have benefitted from God’s righteousness (v. 12)
B. Those who have entered into relationship with God (v. 13)
C. Those who have been blessed by God personally (v. 14)
D. Those who have acknowledged their need of God in their life (v. 15)
