I. The Holy Spirit helps us follow Jesus’ example as God’s servant (Isaiah 42:1-13)
A. God’s Spirit helps us be the servant of God (vv. 1-4)
1. To speak forth His Word (v. 1)
2. To encourage us in His work (v. 2)
3. To enable us to do His will (v. 3)
4. To enjoy benefitting from His presence (v. 4)
B. God’s Spirit helps us serve with God’s power (v. 5)
C. God’s Spirit helps us to serve God faithfully (vv. 6-9)
D. God’s Spirit helps us serve the Lord with joy (vv. 10-13)
1. Singing with praise to God’s glory (v. 10)
2. Rejoicing with thanksgiving to God (v. 11)
3. Glorifying the Lord in honoring Him (v. 12)
4. Enjoying the blessings of God in success (v. 13)
II. The Holy Spirit helps us be fruitful as God’s servant (Isaiah 44:1-5)
A. God sets us apart to His service with His Spirit (vv. 1-2)
B. God’s Spirit nourishes us to be fruitful in service (v. 3)
C. God’s Spirit grows us to serve God effectively (v. 4)
D. God’s Spirit helps us to dedicate ourselves to God’s will (v. 5)
III. The Holy Spirit helps us experience God’s power as His servant (Isaiah 48:12-18)
A. Helps us experience God’s creative power (vv. 12-13)
B. Helps us enjoy the life-giving power of God’s Word (vv. 14-15) (Hebrews 4:8-13)
C. Helps us benefit from the power to follow Him obediently (vv. 17-18)
