Yesterday, Pastor Wes and a team from our church, headed to Libby, MT, with nine other people from our church family to serve with our supported church planters, Dan and Lindsay Grover. We are going to minister with them today in the worship service and this week in a children’s ministry. Our goal is to help them make new contacts through the children’s ministry and through door-to-door outreach ministry. Please be in prayer for everyone to be healthy and well and to work well together for the glory of God and for the benefit of the Grovers. Pray for traveling safety, for weather to be good, and the many details to go smoothly. Pray for God to work in the hearts of those we minister to and in our hearts as we minister. Pray for this week to be used of God greatly in the lives of the team to His glory. We have four teens on this trip: Calvin Samuel, Christopher and Laura Johnston, and Kenneth. Jonathan and Galilee came with their children, and Teri and I are here as well. Teri and Galilee are heavily involved in meal preparation for the group, as well as in other areas of ministry. Pray for God to use our outreach efforts to reach people with the Gospel and to bring people into the services of Blessed Hope Baptist Church. We are excited to be serving with the Grovers, and we desire God to bless this ministry partnership in wonderful ways. The Lord has used these mission’s trips over the years to accomplish great things in the lives of those who have taken part, and we pray the same for this year. It is a great way for our church to invest personally and financially in the ministry of part of our mission’s team by going to serve with them in their place of ministry. If you have not given to the mission’s trips yet, please do so. We need to help support this mission’s trip and the team going to Alaska in July. I am thankful for each person who is willing to give their time to serve with our missionaries in their ministry and for each person who gives to support the mission’s ministry of the Lord’s church hear at Summerville. Giving is great, going is wonderful, but praying is equally as essential for eternity being impacted to God’s glory. Please pray this week as we serve.
