This is exactly how I feel about this past week. God has blessed in marvelous ways this past week through the Thompson family last Sunday, during the Bible conference last week, and then the Smith family sharing Wednesday about the church plant in Ashland, OR, that will launch in June. All who were involved in these services understand completely what I am saying. God worked mightily through His Word, His preachers, and His servants in His church here. God answered every one of our prayers, even the weather. Although it was cloudy and drizzly Tuesday morning, it did not cause any hinderances to anything taking place. By the afternoon when teens and children were outside, the sun was shining mostly and things were better. We had a wonderful turn out from our church family and from guests that attended from elsewhere. We had 25 pastors in attendance with a total of 52 preachers that represented 49 different churches from 12 different states and 3 different foreign countries. The spirit in the services was amazing, and I appreciate everyone having a sweet spirit in their ministry to our guests as well. God showed up and touched hearts through His Word being preached, and the men that preached were clearly led of the Spirit in their preparation and proclamation of the Word of God. I was overwhelmed by the goodness of God and the preaching of His Word and how He worked in our midst again this year in a special way. I had many of our guests and our church family comment on how special the conference was and how wonderfully God used it to bless them, for which we give praise to our great God with thanksgiving. I am thankful for the generosity that was shown by everyone as always in our efforts to help meet needs that were presented this year. God blessed and we saw over $20,000.00 raised to help meet the needs of the projects shared. I am thankful that several of the projects were completely funded and the big needs were helped as well. I was blessed that Bro. Jonah Smith was taken on for support for a year by Faith Baptist Church in Layton, UT, with the hope that he will be able to come visit in the future and the church will continue that support. I am very excited about the Smith family going to Ashland in southwest Oregon, and I look forward to seeing God work greatly with them there. We prayed and planned, and we sought God to work. He blessed and we give Him all the praise and glory. Thank you everyone that took part and had a part in what God did here this past week.
