Today, we gather together in this place for worship in community and fellowship in the name of Jesus Christ. We have common union together in our purpose for being here and in our belief as to what makes it possible to do what we have come to do—which is to worship our great God in the name of His only begotten Son as our Saviour by faith. We have unity together in our belief in Jesus Christ as our Saviour and only source of God’s forgiveness of our sins and the deliverance of the eternal penalty of our sins. This is why we are here today. If this is not why you are here today, I would earnestly encourage you and strongly advise you and lovingly beg of you to consider Christ and His sacrifice for your sins and receive Him by faith as your Saviour today. Today, we have guests with us for our worship service in preparation for the Northwest Bible Conference. The Petroccos are here representing the ministry of Lighthouse Baptist Press which we support monthly, and we have the Thompson family with us as well. Bro. Tim Thompson will be preaching for us today and in the conference and the family will be ministering in special music. This week, we will continue the ministry of the Bible conference in common union with other servants of the Lord and church members from churches all over the country. The Lord has been blessing and using this conference for His glory in His work for 34 years and we are excited to see what He is going to do this year. As a church, we unite together in our belief in God’s will for us to serve, encourage, and bless the servants of God and our brothers and sisters in Christ who are coming to join us in the celebration of God works on earth through His churches and the preaching of the Word of God. We come together to be a blessing to our guests and to help meet the needs of those who are doing the work of God in other places. We will join together to do the work of God in hosting this conference for God’s servants and our other guests. We host this conference to watch what God can do through our offering of service unto Him and see Him do great and mighty things to advance His work on this earth. Thank you for your faith in the Lord to host this event. Thank you for your willingness to join in the work of the ministry in hosting this conference. Thank you for your giving to God’s work through His church here faithfully and regularly to be able to continue this ministry for all of these years. Thank you for your prayers over the past months building up to this week and now we will see God answer our prayers.
