Today we are delighted to have Bro. Sam Davison here with us as we begin the Northwest Bible Conference. This year we will see how God will continue His work of blessing on this special event in our church calendar. For thirty-six years now, we have been watching God work through His church here at Summerville to bless His servants and give them an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with fellow servants of God. This week we will see God bless once again as we take part in the work of the ministry and the worship of our great God. God can’t bless us if we do not show up. God can’t use us to His glory to bless our guests if we are not involved. We can’t see the greatness of God displayed in His work through the conference if we are not being part of the conference. We will not be blessed by the sermons preached from God’s Word by the preachers preaching for us if we are not here to listen to the Spirit of God speak to us. If you allow yourself to miss out, then you will definitely miss out. To all of the people who are new to Summerville Bible Church who have not been here in April, I want to encourage you to make plans to be here for the services and help out in the ministry so you can enjoy this special meeting. For anyone who has been here before but still not taken part in the Bible conference, I greatly encourage you to do so this week. The singing, the preaching, the fellowship, the spirit of the congregation of God’s people, and the way God works in our midst is truly a wonderful blessing from God to whomever takes part. We have seen God do amazing things through His people in this meeting over the past three decades, and I am excited to see what God is going to do once again this year. I hope you will not cheat yourself out of this special blessing in your life personally by not showing up. Let us pray, let us serve, let us gather, and let us see what God does once again.
