“To God be the Glory, Great Things He Hath Done”

Once again, God has been very good to His church here at Summerville. God answered every one of our prayers that we have been lifting up to Him the past several weeks and months in regards to the Northwest Bible Conference. The weather was incredible, the preaching was phenomenal, the spirit of the services and fellowship was sweet. Everyone who came had safe travels here and, to my understanding, everyone made it home safely as well. God brought together 56 vocational servants of His to the Bible conference this year, 26 of whom were lead pastors of churches. There were 53 different churches represented from 8 different states. There were 2 foreign nations represented through missionaries; one of which was from Cambodia who is raising support to go back to Cambodia and the other is going to a restricted access Muslim nation in Africa. I was very blessed to meet 13 servants of God who were here for the very first time to take part in the Bible conference. We had a packed house on Monday night and the atmosphere was filled with God’s Spirit in people worshipping the Lord in song, in prayer, in hearing the Word, and in responding to God’s Spirit in the invitation. Each service was filled with God’s blessings through the worship services and the singing of His people was an overwhelming blessing to my heart. The fellowship was sweet as the servants of God visited and built relationships and made new friends. We laughed and we cried as God worked through His worship in each aspect of each service to RENEW the hearts of His children and servants who gathered in His house taking part in the Bible conference this year. I am very grateful for every one of you who had a part in the work of the ministry to host the conference again this year. I am also glad that so many made time to be in the services to benefit from what God did in His worship. I pray we will see fruit in the Lord’s church here at Summerville in the days ahead because of what He did in our hearts through the Bible conference. I also want to praise the Lord for the blessings financially in the commitments made and the giving received to help meet the needs that were presented this year on Tuesday morning. Over $20,000,00 was raised to help meet 8 different needs that were made known in the Bible conference and 2 of them were fully funded. God worked in amazing ways once again and we give Him the praise and the glory for the great things He has done in answering all of the prayers we lifted up to Him in preparing for the 36th annual Northwest Bible Conference. Glory to God in the highest!
