God’s will for us all is to keep making progress while we are living. If a person is not saved, then His will is for them to make progress in becoming born again. This begins with understanding the truth of His Word regarding their spiritual condition as lost in sin and separated from relationship with Him. Then they need more progress in understanding the truth of the Gospel so they can embrace the solution to their spiritual need of being lost by exercising faith in Christ alone for their redemption from sin and receiving God’s gift of eternal life in Christ in justification. For the believer, God wants each of us to be making progress in our relationship with Him by growing stronger in faith and taking steps of obedience in serving with Him and living for His glory. This is the life long journey of sanctification that God desires for every believer. As a church He wants to be ever making progress in our ministry here on earth as a lighthouse to the world of His love, grace, and mercy. As we spread the Gospel here in our valley, support church planters in our homeland, and help send missionaries around the world; we are making progress in His will for His church. As we grow in faithfulness to worship the Lord regularly and serve with Him in ministry with the spiritual gifts that He has given us, we are making progress. As we develop the facilities and ministries we already have and expand our facilities for new ministries we are making progress. Most of us here today have heard the scientific truth that nature abhors a vacuum, so too does God not want us to be stagnant in our lives with Him. I am thankful for all those who help Pastor Steve in our progress in improving our current facility of this building by making it effective to move our nursery to be part of this building to improve safety of those in the nursery and the comfort of the mothers whose children are in the nursery. Several years ago, I asked some of our leadership and church workers about a few things that would help our ministry be better and one response I heard from several was in regards to the location of our nursery. We are endeavoring to make progress in the building we have to address those concerns and recommendations. The new ministry center is another step in seeking to address other concerns and suggestions that were shared in the past as well. As a team of leaders here in the Lord’s church, we continually strive to follow the Lord in making progress in what we do and how we do it for God’s glory in His church. We are constantly seeking the Lord for His will for His church in ministry in this place. Thank you for being part of making progress.
