For thirty-four years, the Lord has been using this church in this place to bless His servants from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond through the Northwest Bible Conference. This is a great opportunity for our church family to be a blessing to other church families as they come to enjoy the conference or as their pastor comes to be recharged and challenged in his ministry. Like in our weekly church ministry and in our semi-annual church workdays, this event needs everyone being willing to do something to help make it a success to the glory of God. We need food preparers, meal servers, clean up crews, nursery workers, and many other people helping out in various ways to help make the Bible conference a wonderful blessing to all of our guests. We need everyone praying for God to work mightily and bless wonderfully to see His glory in this event. We need to pray for God to work His will out to His glory in our special offering during the Bible conference to help meet the needs of God’s servants. You may wish to take part in the giving to the needs that are presented as well. Our goal is to bless our guests that come to take part in the Bible conference. Each year God uses this event to make new relationships, build existing friendships, and encourage those who come. Every year servants of God get out of the ministry due to discouragement and each year we have the privilege to serve the servants of God and encourage them in the work that the Lord is doing with them in the place they serve. I invite you to begin praying now, if you are not already praying, for the Bible conference to be used greatly to the glory of God. It is amazing how the Lord has used His church here in Summerville over the years to bless and encourage the servants of God in the work they are doing with Him. The preaching of the Word of God, the worship of our great God, the prayers lifted up to God’s throne, the fellowship, and the ministry of God’s children here have all been used greatly to the glory of God in the lives of the servants of God. It has been my privilege and pleasure to serve with you in this ministry to the servants of God over the past twenty-five years, and I look forward to seeing what God does this year in our midst through your ministry with Him to His servants.
