TEXT:  Job 33:1-14

I. The Holy Spirit is involved in us being made as a child of God (Job 33:1-4)
A. The Holy Spirit helps us to see our need of God in our life (John 16:7-11; Galatians 3:14)
B. The Holy Spirit separates God’s children from the lost world (John 14:16-17)
C. The Holy Spirit helps God’s children live as God’s children (I Cor. 15:10)

II. The Holy Spirit helps us receive the truth of God (Job 33:5-11)
A. The Holy Spirit teaches us God’s truth to help us teach others (vv. 5-7; John 14:26)
B. The Holy Spirit helps us to know God through His Word (vv. 8-9; John 15:26)
C. The Holy Spirit helps us see ourselves in light of God’s holiness (vv. 10-11; John 16:12-15)

III. The Holy Spirit helps us know God’s truth about us (Job 33:12-14)
A. None of us are just without sin on our own (Romans 3:10-12)
B. None of us are able to make ourselves right with God on our own (Romans 3:20-26)
C. None of us are equal in authority to God
1. We are no match for God, He is superior to us all
2. He is not answerable to us, we are answerable to Him
3. He speaks and we need to listen to Him because we need His help (Exodus 8:10; Psalm 86:8; Jeremiah 10:6; Isaiah 45:6-7, 21-22; 46:9; Numbers 23:19; I Samuel 15:29)
