TEXT: JOSHUA 10:8-14
Introduction: Joshua 10:1-7
- There is no need to fear going when God says go
- When God says not to fear, you have nothing to fear Joshua 1:6-9; Matthew 28:18-20
- Confidence & courage are the opposite of fear
- God said not to fear because He would be with His children
- God has given us a commission to obey Him for His glory
- When God promises you victory, you have nothing to fear I John 4:1-6
- When God proclaims, “no one will withstand”, you have nothing to fear Matthew 16:17-19
- When God says not to fear, you have nothing to fear Joshua 1:6-9; Matthew 28:18-20
- There is no need to fear obeying what God says to do Joshua 10:9-11
- We need to obey God’s clear direction immediately
- We need to obey God’s clear direction experientially
- They experienced what God promised as they obeyed what God said
- They experienced God’s blessings as they obeyed God’s will
- They experienced God’s great power for them as they trusted Him to work
- We need to obey God’s clear direction victoriously
- Because they obeyed God, they enjoyed His victory
- Because they obeyed God, they saw God work miraculously
- Because they obeyed God, they enjoyed God’s help & God’s work
- There is no need to fear when the Creator God is with you Joshua 10:12-15
- No need to fear asking Him anything in His name for His flory
- No need to fear the powers of nature when the Creator controls it
- No need to fear any day when God is Sovereign over each day
