TEXT:  Acts 10

I. This lost man wanted to know the true God (v. 22)
A. He was a good man, but a lost man
B. He was a God-fearing man, but a lost man
C. He was a respected man, but a lost man
D. He was fasting and praying asking for God to help him
II. This preacher needed to hear from God (vv. 23-26
A. God responded to the prayer of faith and desire of the lost man
B. God convinced his preacher to bring the Gospel to the lost man
C. God answered the desire of the lost man expressed in fasting and prayer
III. Fasting and Praying helped this man meet God (vv. 27-33)
A. This lost man spent much time in prayer seeking to know God (vv. 1-8)
B. This lost man spent time fasting and praying desiring to know God (vv. 30-32)
C. This lost man received his answer after fasting and praying
1. God worked in this man’s life to want to know Him
2. God worked in His preacher’s heart to want to go to him
3. God worked strategically to bring this man to be born into His family
*   Hearing the truth of the Gospel
*  Receiving faith to express to be saved
*  Exercising faith to believe on Christ for Salvation
