Our Purpose
“To help people come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior by sharing the Gospel, to assist believers to grow spiritually in their relationship with the Lord through the
communication of God’s Word, and to serve God together as growing Christians through the ministry of this Church all under the authority of Jesus Christ, the leading and strength of the
Holy Spirit, to the glory of God.”

I. To help people come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior by sharing the Gospel (Luke 19:9-10; Matthew 4:18-22)
A. We don’t save people, we merely introduce them to who Jesus is.
B. We don’t make people get saved, we merely share the truth of the Gospel with them.
C. We don’t force people to follow Jesus as Saviour, we just help them know truth.
II. To assist believers to grow spiritually in their relationship with the Lord through the communication of God’s Word (Matthew 20:25-28; 4:17, 23; 9:35; Acts 15:35; 28:31)
A. We assist them through serving them with the truth of God’s Word.
B. We assist them in growing spiritually by sharing the truth of God’s Word.
C. We assist them by encouraging their faithfulness to attend the services of the church.
III. To serve God as growing Christians through the ministry of this Church all under the authority of Jesus Christ, the leading and strength of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of
God. (Matthew 16:19)
A. Growing in effectiveness as a growing Christian.
B. Growing in evangelism as a growing Christian.
C. Growing in exercising ourselves spiritually as a growing Christian.
D. Growing in exalting God as a growing Christian.
