AM “The Marks of Maturity at any Age”

Text: Genesis 39:1-9

From the text, Pastor Humber points out that Joseph was “goodly, strong and trustworthy.”  In the “school of hard knocks”, God was equipping him to lead the nation of Egypt and to rescue his family from famine.

Listeners are encouraged to teach our children God’s ways and lead them to become mature individuals.

Each person is also responsible to become a trustworthy person who is respected for their convictions, principles and ethics.

Mature people do not need rules because they rule themselves (Proverbs 25:27,28).  How are we doing with self-control?

Wherever we go, whatever we do, the Lord is with us, let that fact affect our lives as we grow and mature.
