Text:  Proverbs 1:20-33

  1. The readiness of God’s Wisdom     Proverbs 1:20-23
    1. The announcement is open & public
    2. The question is to any and all who need it
    3. The call is to whomsoever will respond
  2. The rejection of God’s Wisdom     Proverbs 1:24-25; 29-30
    1. The call of God’s Wisdom was refused instead of received
    2. The offering of God’s Wisdom was disregarded instead of respected
    3. The counsel of God’s Wisdom was rejected instead of becoming a benefit
    4. The correction of God’s Wisdom was despised instead of consented to
    5. The knowledge of God’s Wisdom was hated instead of valued
    6. The dishonoring of God was chosen instead of the fear of God
  3. The refusal of God’s Wisdom     Proverbs 1:26-28; 31-32;  Romans 1:24
    1. We all end up with the results of our choices
    2. It is possible to wait too long to obey God
    3. We reap the fruit of the seed we sow in living life     Job 4:8;  Hosea 10:12;   Galatians 6:7,8
  4. The reception of God’s Wisdom     Proverbs 1:33
    1. Whosoever will hear and heed will benefit
    2. Whosoever will listen and learn will enjoy the result
    3. Whosoever will trust and obey will have the help of God     Philippians 4:6-9;  Colossians 3:15
