I. God’s plan for His children is clear vss. 11-14

II. God’s promise to bless His children is clear vss. 15-18

1. He promises to be attentive to His honoring children vs. 15

2. He promises to be attached to His faithful children vs. 16

3. He promises to perpetuate His blessings to His children vss. 17-18

4. He promises to correct His wayward children

5. He promises to chasten His rebellious children

III. God’s promise to chasten His children is clear vss. 19-22

1. Our sin is our choice against God vs. 19

2. Our sinful choices will cost us blessings from God vs. 20

1. It will cost us His blessings personally

2. It will cost us His blessings collectively

3. It will cost us His blessings nationally

3. Our sinfulness has consequences as a testimony to others vss. 21-22
