I. God’s promise is a gift that should cause us to praise Him vv. 1-2 worship
- The greatness of God over other objects of worship should cause us to praise Him James 1:17-18
- The lovingkindness seen in His promises should cause us to praise Him
- The truthfulness of His promises in His Word should cause us to praise Him
- The view of God towards His promises in His Word should cause us to praise Him
II. God’s provision is a gift that should cause us to praise Him vv. 3-5
- His provision in hearing and answering our prayers v. 3
- His provision declared to others will cause them to praise v. 4
- His provision should be sung to make known His great glory v. 5
III. God’s protection is a gift to us that should cause us to praise Him vv. 6-8
- God’s grace to the humble and rejection of the proud v. 6
- God’s strength to His children and His opposition to the wicked v. 7
- God’s mercy to bless His children and faithfulness to them v. 8
