TEXT: Romans 12:1-3

I. Renew thinking for my reasonable service (v. 1)
A. It is reasonable because of the mercies of God
B. It is reasonable for me to present my body to God (Colossians 3:5-10; Romans 6:6, 13)
C. It is reasonable for my life to be lived for God

II. Renew thinking to be transformed for God’s will (v. 2)
A. Our thinking shapes our life (Proverbs 23:3-7; I John 2:15-17)
B. Our thinking is transformative as it is renewed (Ezekiel 18:31, 36:26; Psalm 51:10; Romans 13:14; II Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 4:22-24; Colossians 3:10; Titus 3:5)
C. Our thinking renewed in God’s truth helps us to discern God’s will

III. Renew thinking to think properly about myself (v. 3)
A. With the help of the grace of God given unto me
B. With the help of the Word of God to think humbly
C. With the help of the Spirit of God to think accurately
D. With the help of the faith God makes available to us all
