The Fear of the Lord is His Treasure

TEXT:  ISAIAH 33:1-13

I. The Lord is always at work even when we do not see it vs. 1

A. Injustice will be dealt with by God even if it looks like it is not

B.Treachery will be dealt with by God even if it looks like it is not

C. The principle of sowing and reaping is always fulfilled by God

II. The Lord is always exalted even if we do not take part in it vss. 2-6

A. The Lord is always gracious to His people vs. 2

B. The Lord is always exalted before His people vs. 5

1. The Lord exalts Himself as He cares for His children

2. The Lord is always superior to the needs of His children

3. The Lord is glorified in filling the needs of His people

C. The Lord’s fear is His treasure for His people vs. 6

1. The treasure of His wisdom to bring stability to their times of need

2. The treasure of His knowledge to bring stability to their times of need

3. The treasure of His strength to bring deliverance to their times of need

III. The Lord is the judge of us all even if we do not believe it vss. 7-13

A. He brings judgment here on earth in different ways

B. He will bring a final judgment on earth in the future

C. He will be the final judge of us all in the end
