I. God uses His Spirit to help us in His work (Judges 11)
A. Jephthah had been rejected but he did not give up
B. Jephthah made himself available to God to use to His glory
C. Jephthah made an unwise drastic vow in his crisis that cost him greatly
II. God uses His Spirit to help us help others (Judges 13)
A. Samson was born at a sad time in his family and nation
B. Samson was a gift from God to his family and nation
C. Samson was a source of hope to his family and nation
III. Man can choose to dishonor God even with His Spirit (Judges 14-15)
A. God’s Spirit can help us do what we need to do as a child of God (14:6)
B. God’s Spirit does not override our personal choices and freewill (14:19)
C. God’s Spirit can help us salvage some success even when we mess up (15:14)
