TEXT:  HEBREWS 8, 9, 10

I. God wants a relationship with you Hebrews 8:6-13
A. The Lord Jesus makes this covenant possible v. 6, 1-2
B. The new covenant will replace the old covenant for everyone vv. 7-9
C. The new covenant focuses on the condition of the heart vv. 10-12
D. The second had to come after the first covenant v. 13

II. Jesus Christ makes it possible for us Hebrews 9:11-15
A. Jesus is our High Priest to bring us to God in the new covenant v. 11
B. Jesus is our sacrifice for sin to pay the debt of our sin to God v. 12
C. Jesus’s blood cleanses us of our sinfulness to be right with God vv. 13-14
D. Jesus is our only source of eternal life in His resurrection v. 15

III. There is only one way to have sin forgiven Hebrews 10:26
A. There is no other forgiveness of sin apart from redemption in Christ
B. There is no other forgiveness of sin apart from the truth of the Gospel
C. There is no other forgiveness of sin apart from God’s forgiveness
