  • Few true believers, many religious but lost     Matthew 7:12-14
  • Avoiding hypocrisy so we are all judged the same     Matthew 7:1-11

1. This reality is the same for everyone     Matthew 7:24,26
   1. “Whosoever” applies to everyone
   2. “Whosoever” is available to anyone and everyone
   3. “Whosoever” is advantageous to all people     Acts 2:21; Acts 10:43; Romans 3:21-26; Romans 4:18; Romans 10:11-13; II Corinthians 5:14-15
2. This reality is only possible God’s Way     Luke 6:47;  Matthew 7:24
   1. Coming to Him     Luke 18:16; Matthew 11:28-30
   2. Hearing His Word
   3. Obeying His Word
3. This reality is a cause and effect dynamic for everyone
   1. The invitation to come and hear is the same
   2. The building is the same
   3. The storm is the same
   4. The effect is different, because the obedience is different
   5. The principle to be understood is the same for all of us
