TEXT:  2 Chronicles 7:14

Continuing from the AM service:…

1. Revival begins with God’s people submitting to God

    1.  Submitting to His will being done in our lives
      1. Prayer often involves submitting our will to God’s Will      Matthew 6:10; Luke 11:2;  Matthew 26:42;  Luke 22:42
      2. The Lordship of Christ in us is all about our will submitting to His Will
      3. The exercise of seeking His face for His Will requires submission to Him first
    2. Submitting to Him being glorified in our lives
    3. Submitting to His work being done through our lives.
  2. Revival begins with God’s people being heard by God in heaven
    1. He does not hear us when we are living in sin     Proverbs 15:29;  Micah 3:4
    2. He does not hear us when we are living in rebellion     Jeremiah 5:23-25
    3. He does not hear us when we are living to Satan’s glory on earth
  3. Revival begins with God’s people being cleansed of their wicked ways     I John 1:5-10
    1. We need His forgiveness of our sin to be right with Him
    2. He will forgive our sin when we turn from them in repentance
    3. We can have fellowship with Him when we seek His face instead of our sin
  4. Revival begins with God’s people being blessed by God to do His work on earth
    1. God blessing His people & their service with HIm
    2. God enabling His people & their service to do His work on earth
    3. God empowering His people & their service to impact the world for His Glory
