TEXT:  Romans 12:4-21

I. Renew thinking by the faith given to us from God (v. 3)
A. God created us to be believers
B. God has given all of us the information to believe in Him (Psalm 19)
C. God has given His Word to mankind so we can know and believe Him (Romans 10)

II. Renew thinking to function in the body of Christ (vv. 4-8)
A. Pride is destructive to function in the body of believers (v. 4)
B. Our thinking effects how we see ourselves and others (v. 5)
C. God’s grace helps us function in the body of Christ well (vv. 6-8)

III. Renew thinking in order to obey God’s Word (vv. 9-21)
A. Love genuinely with God’s love (vv. 9a, 10, 20)
B. Distain evil and desire good (vv. 9b, 21)
C. Do your best in all that you do unto God (v. 11)
D. Be faithful to God with the help of prayer (v. 12)
E. Be generous to others with God’s blessings (v. 13)
D. Bless others instead of cursing them (v. 14)
E. Care about what others are experiencing in life (v. 15)
F. Think biblically about ourselves and others (v. 16)
G. Do the right thing no matter what others do to you (v. 17)
H. Choose to be peaceable with those around you (v. 18)
I. Let God deal with vengeance not yourself (v. 19)
