TEXT:  EPHESIANS 6:5-9

  • Introduction:
    • Doing all to the glory of God includes our work
    • Doing all to the glory of God means we answer to God for all
    • Doing all to the glory of God is the same for everyone.
  1. Workers working for God’s glory.  Ephesians 6:5-6
    1. Workers working obediently to their authority
    2. Workers working respectfully under their authority.   Romans 13:1-8
    3. Workers working diligently for their authority.
  2. People being blessed of God for doing a good job.  Ephesians 6:7-8
    1. Being blessed of God for doing good on the earth.  Ephesians 4:28
    2. Being blessed of God for doing what they do for Him.
    3. Being blessed of God for doing right regardless of who we are.
  3. Leaders caring for workers under God’s authority.  Ephesians 6:9
    1. Bosses need to realize they are not the ultimate authority
    2. Bosses need to know they have a boss they will answer to.
    3. Bosses need to understand that God does not show favoritism.  Luke 12:48
