We need encouragement in these last days and unity in the church.

1. We must reach out to those in need
   1. See Psalm 118:6; Ecclesiastes 7:4; Proverbs 17:17; Hebrews 2:18
2. We must prepare and protect our families
   1. 2 Tim 1:16; Matthew 10:21; 1 Timothy 5:4
   2. We are to diligently pray for our families.
