AM: “RENEW STRENGTH IN GOD’S PRESENCE”

TEXT: Isaiah 41:1-10

I. God’s call to listen (v. 1)  Zechariah 2:13
A. We need to be quiet in order to give our undivided attention
B. We need to come before the Lord in order to benefit from the Lord
C. We need to wait on the Lord to renew our strength in Him  2 Chronicles 7:14
D. We need to get close to God in order to see from His perspective

II. God’s ability to use who He wants to do what He wills (vv. 2-4)
A. He can raise up whom He wishes to serve Him how He wishes
B. He can bless whom He desires to be a blessing to His people
C. He can work His will out to His glory for His people how He chooses

III. God reminds His children of the truth they have forgotten (vv. 5-10)
A. When God works to bless His children, others are encouraged (vv. 5-7)
B. When we need God to work, remember how God has worked (vv. 8-9)
C. When we need God to work, remember His promise to His children (v. 10)
1. He promised His presence with us so we have no need to fear
2. He promised His relationship with us so we should never be hopeless
3. He promised His help to us so we should never feel without help and alone
