   5. Didn’t use her ‘lack’ as an excuse to not serve
2. Anna’s service to God  –  Luke 2:37, 38
   1. Fasting – day & night
   2. Praying – day & night
      1. Romans 12:1 – carrying out duties in a spirit of worship & devotion
      2. Eph 6:6 – serving for the Lord
      3. Eph 6:18 – burdened in prayer for others
   3. Praising – Luke 2:38
      1. She gave thanks – Hebrews 13:15
   4. Proclaiming – Luke 2:38 – she proclaimed the Christ, the Redeemer
