TEXT: II Timothy 2:8-13

I. Proclaiming the Gospel is essential to a biblical church (v. 8)
A. Who Jesus is
B. What Jesus did
C. What Jesus expects
1. We who personalize the Gospel
2. We will proclaim the Gospel
3. We will propagate the Gospel
* We were commissioned to spread the Gospel every where
* We were empowered to spread the Gospel to every one
* We were commanded to spread the Gospel where we are and in other places
* We will give account to Jesus for our faithfulness to obediently spreading the Gospel while we are here

II. Faithfulness is essential to a church being biblical (vv. 9-10)
A. Being faithful to the Word of God (v. 9)
B. Being faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ (v. 10)
C. Being faithful to the worship of our God as a church

III. Jesus is always faithful even when we are not (vv. 11-13)
A. Jesus is faithful to all who have trusted in Him as Saviour (v. 11)
B. Jesus is faithful to His Word even when we are not (v. 12)
C. Jesus is faithful to His promise of eternal Salvation (v. 13)
