Sheep are very needy and need the watchful eye of the Shepherd.  Do we know the Shepherd?

Jesus = Abundant Life

1. The Door  V. 9
   1. Assurance of the door  John 14:6; Acts 4

   3. Accommodations through the door
      1. Salvation
      2. Surrender & Sacrifice in Service  John 6:37
2. The Danger  V. 10
   1. The Thief – outside the sheep fold
      1. Notice his approach – an embezzler or pilferer – cunning & deceitful  I Peter 5:8
      2. Stay close to the Lord to avoid being deceived
3. The Defender  V. 10
   1. “I Am”  John 6:35; 8:12; 10:9; 10:11; 11:25; 14:6; 15:1
   2. His Person  ~ I am come  V 10
   3. His Presence  ~  we have the Holy Spirit to guard and guide
   4. His Purpose  ~ Romans 3:23; 5:23; 5:8; 10:9; 10:13
   5. His Provision  ~ Abundant Life

When we seek, surrender & serve Jesus, we will have life more abundantly.
