I. God is the Creator of all life (Genesis 1:26-31)
A. God created man (vv. 26-27)
B. God created man in His own image (vv. 26-27)
C. God created mankind in only two genders (v. 27)
D. God created mankind to manage His creation (vv. 26, 28-31)
1. Purpose (vv. 26. 28)
2. Productivity (v. 28)
3. Provision (v. 29)
4. Profitability (vv. 30-31)

II. God created marriage for a man and a woman (Genesis 2:7, 15-25)
A. God created man as a living soul (v. 7)
B. God created man to serve Him in His creation (v. 15)
C. God created man to benefit from His creation (v. 16)

D. God created man to commune with Him in obedience (v. 17)
E. God created a help meet for man in woman (vv. 18-25)
1. For communing together
2. For complementing together
3. For completing together
4. For commitment together

III. God created marriage to portray His love on earth (Ephesians 5:22-33)
A. Wives supporting as a loving help meet unto the Lord (vv. 22-24)
B. Husbands leading as a loving head like Christ to the church (vv. 25-29)
C. Husbands and wives united together like Christ and the church (vv. 30-31)
D. We all need to glorify God in the role He designed us to fulfill (vv. 32-33)
