TEXT:   John 4:3-26

I. We need to go to the places where people need to hear God’s truth (vv. 3-6a)
A. We need to take the Gospel in all places (v. 3)
1. They had been sharing the truth of God’s Word in Judea
2. They were taking the Message of God’s Word to Galilee
3. Jesus went through Samaria intentionally to bring the Gospel there too
B. We need to take the Gospel to places others neglect (vv. 3-4)
C. We need to take truth where it had been but has drifted (vv. 5-6a)

II. We need to share the Gospel with everyday circumstances (vv. 6-10)
A. Becoming weary when walking is normal daily life (v. 6)
B. Needing a drink of water is normal daily life (vv. 7-9)
C. Making spiritual connections with normal life can happen daily (v. 10)

III. We need to help people see their spiritual need and God’s solution (vv. 11-18)

A. We need to say things that create questions to build interest (vv. 11-12)
B. We need to help people see their need of everlasting life (vv. 13-14)
C. We need to help people see God’s solution to their spiritual need in sin (vv. 15-18)

IV. We need the Spirit of God to connect us to God in our spirit (vv. 19-26)
A. Truly worshipping God is about a position with Him not a physical place (v. 21)
1. The position of relationship not the place of religion
2. The position in Christ not a geographical location on the map
3. The position of accepted in God’s family not special place of traditions of men

B. Truly worshipping God is about knowing the person you are worshipping (v. 22)
C. Truly worshipping God requires being a true worshipper in spirit & truth (vv. 23-24)
D. Truly worshipping God requires knowing the truth about Jesus (vv. 25-26)
