TEXT:  Luke 2:25-35

I. God’s Holy Ghost directs us in the will of God for our life (vv. 25-26)
A. We can be faithful to God when we have the Holy Spirit with us (v. 25)
1. Faithful in our obedience to God with the help of the Holy Spirit of God
2. Faithful in our devotion to God with the help of the Holy Spirit of God
3. Faithful in our submission to God with the help of the Holy Spirit of God
B. We can benefit from the revelation of God with the Holy Spirit with us (v. 26a)
C. We can gain encouragement from the message of God with the Holy Spirit (v. 26b)

II. God’s Spirit leads us to where God wants us to be in His will (vv. 27-32)
A. Simeon came to the Temple because the Holy Spirit led him (v. 27a)
B. We enjoy the promises of God by being sensitive to the Holy Spirit (v. 27b)
C. We can proclaim the message of God by yielding to the Holy Spirit (vv. 28-32)

III. God’s Holy Spirit enables us to speak God’s message for His will (vv. 33-35)
A. We can help people think on God’s truth with the Holy Spirit’s help (v. 33)
B. We can bless others with God’s message by sharing it with them (v. 34)
C. We can be a source of conviction to others with the message of God (v. 35)
