TEXT:  Exodus
I. Equips with wisdom to follow God’s will (Exodus 28:1-4)
A. The Holy Spirit equips us to do God’s work in God’s holiness (vv. 1-2)
1. The priest wore holy garments portraying to clothed in His righteousness
2. The priest wore garments displaying to glory of God to man
3. The priest wore beautiful attire that was appropriate for God’s service
B. The Holy Spirit equips us to do God’s work with God’s wisdom (v. 3)
C. The Holy Spirit equips us to do God’s work God’s way (v. 4)
1. Joshua was full of the Spirit of God to have wisdom to lead the people of God (Deuteronomy 34:9)
* Being Spirit filled helps people listen to God’s leader
*Being Spirit filled helps the leader of God lead in the command of God
*Being Spirit filled helps the leader of God lead with the wisdom of God
2. The Spirit of God gives different gifts to different people for different ministry (I Corinthians 12:8)
3. The Spirit of God helps the child of God know God through His wisdom (Ephesians 1:17)

II. Empowers with ability to accomplish God’s work (Exodus 31:1-7; 35:31)
A. The Spirit of God empowers those God calls into His ministry (vv. 1-3)
B. The Spirit of God empowers God’s servant to do what God called them to do (vv. 3-5)
C. The Spirit of God empowers God’s child to do God’s work God’s way (vv. 6-11)
1. God’s Spirit will never lead God’s child to violate God’s Word
2. God’s Spirit will never lead God’s child to disobey God in serving God
3. God’s Spirit will always lead God’s child to honor God in obedience

III. Enables with desire to give to the work of God on earth (Exodus 35:20-31)
A. The Holy Spirit enables children of God to give offerings (vv. 20-28)
1. All of God’s children can benefit from the help of the Holy Spirit (vv. 20-22)
2. The Holy Spirit can lead every child of God to invest in God’s work (v. 24)
3. The Holy Spirit leads God’s children to willingly give to God’s work (v. 24)
4. All of God’s children can be motivated by the Holy Spirit to serve (vv. 25-26)

B. Holy Spirit enables children of God to willingly offer what they have (v. 29)
1. The Holy Spirit helped them bring a willing offering into the Lord
2. The Holy Spirit helped men and women to have a willing heart to give
3. The Holy Spirit helped God’s children obey God’s will to do God’s work
C. The Holy Spirit enables children of God to willingly serve God (vv. 30-35)
1. God’s Spirit gave them wisdom to do the work of God well
2. God’s Spirit gave them understanding to do the work of God best
3. God’s Spirit gave them direction to do the work of God as God’s tool
