TEXT:  PSALM 111:1-10

1. The fear of the Lord helps us to enjoy the goodness of God     Psalm 111:1-4
   1. The goodness of God experienced in corporate worship
      1. The Lord is worthy of our praise
      2. God is deserving of the expression of the praise of our heart
      3. Others need to hear the worship of our praise to the Lord
   2. The greatness of God enjoyed by finding pleasure in His work
   3. The gloriousness of God exalting His righteousness in praise
   4. The graciousness of God expressed in recounting His work
2. The fear of the Lord is essential to God’s provision    Psalm 111:5-8
   1. God provides the physical needs to those who fear Him
   2. God provides His matchless power to those who fear Him
   3. God provides His promises to those who fear Him
3. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of many good things    Psalm 111:9-10
   1. The fear of the Lord begins with redemption
   2. The fear of the Lord is the result of a covenant relationship
   3. The fear of the Lord is the result of our reverencing His holiness
   4. The fear of the Lord is where learning from the Lord begins
   5. The fear of the Lord is where the praise of the Lord begins forever
      1. Admitting His worthiness of it
      2. Acknowledging His due of it for all He does for us
      3. Articulating His glory for His blessings to us
