- Fearing God causes us to avoid sin vs. 1-8
- Job honored God so he did what was right vs. 1, 8
- Job honored God so he avoided what was sinful vs. 1, 8
- Job honored God so he was blessed of God vs. 2-7
- Fearing God causes us to have God’s protection vs. 9-12
- Satan knew this to be true vs. 9-10
- God is in control of the happenings of our life vs. 10-11
- Satan could not touch Job without God’s allowing it
- God allowed Satan to touch Job but limited it
- Job still remained faithful to God in honoring Him
- God allows trials to come our way for His glory vs. 11-12
- For His glory in us as we grow to trust Him more
- For His glory through us as we honor Him in the trial
- For His glory from us as we praise Him for working for our good
- Fearing God helps us to be faithful even when we are sorrowful vs. 20-22
- Job still reverenced God as he mourns over the losses he suffered vs. 20
- Job still worshipped God for who He is vs. 20
- Job still honored God as the giver of his blessings vs. 21
- Job still acknowledged God as the one who allowed his losses vs. 21
- Job still blessed God as the good and great God that He is vs. 22
