TEXT:  Philippians 4:4-20

1. The Lord’s glory should be the cause of our actions     Philippians 4:4-5

   2. Causing us to act appropriately as we live life      v. 5a
   3. Causing us to act as a good witness to others as we live life     v. 5b
2. The Lord’s presence should be the guide of our actions    Philippians 4:5-7
   1. The Lord’s presence in us constantly
   2. The Lord allowing us to come into His presence
   3. The Lord’s presence providing peace for us     II Timothy 1:7
3. The Lord’s truth should be the producer of our actions    Philippians 4:8-10
   1. Thinking on the right things     V. 8     II Corinthians 10:3-6;  Philippians 3:13
   2. Doing the right things     V. 9     John 8:29;  I John 3:22
   3. Caring about the right things  V.10
4. The Lord’s blessing should be the goal of our actions    Philippians 4:10-20
   1. The Lord blessing you with strength to do His will for His glory     V.10-13
   2. The Lord blessing you for your obedience with His resources     V.14-19
   3. The Lord blessing because He is glorified by your actions     V.20
