TEXT:  PSALM 25

I. God is trustworthy to believe and follow for salvation (vv. 1-7)
A. In prayer (v. 1)
B. In troubles (vv. 2-3)
C. In deliverance (vv. 4-7)
1. From sins of my enemies against me
2. From sins I am guilty of against God

II. God is good and gracious to sinners who repent to Him (vv. 8-14)
A. In regard to our sinfulness (v. 8)
B. In regard to doing right before Him (vv. 9-10)
C. In regard to His forgiveness of our sins (v. 11)
D. In regard to His peace in our lives personally (vv. 12-14)

III. God is the Redeemer of whoever will trust in Him (vv. 15-22)
A. For His guidance from Satan’s traps by looking onto Him (v. 15)
B. For His mercy in my emptiness, troubles, and distress (vv. 16-17)
C. For forgiveness of my sins that create affliction and pain (v. 18)
D. For deliverance from my enemies who hate me (v. 19)
E. For trusting in Him with my soul to be right with Him (v. 20)
F. For depending on Him to help me be faithful (v. 21)
G. For the protection of our nation from troubles (v. 22)
