TEXT: Psalm 63
I. If we seek the Lord, we find the benefit He is to us (vv. 1-2)
A. We seek Him in relationship with Him (v. 2a)
B. We seek Him when it is a priority to us (v. 2b)
C. We seek Him in order to see His work in our lives (v. 2)

II. When we seek the Lord, we enjoy His blessings in our life (vv. 3-6)
A. We enjoy the blessing of God’s lovingkindness in our life (v. 3a)
B. We praise God when we benefit from God in our life (vv. 3b-5)
C. We shall be satisfied in our soul when we seek the Lord (vv. 5a)
D. We can end the day thinking about the goodness of God (v. 6)

III. Benefitting from God’s help in our life draws us closer to Him (vv. 7-8)
A. The help of the Lord is the result of seeking the Lord (v. 7a)
B. The help of the Lord causes us to stay close to the Lord (v. 7b)
C. The help of the Lord causes us to rejoice in the Lord (v. 7b)
D. The help of the Lord causes us to keep following the Lord (v. 8a)
E. The help of the Lord causes us to experience more of His help (v. 8b)

IV. When we seek the Lord, we enjoy His protection in our life (vv. 9-11)
A. When we are close to the Lord, our enemies are hindered (vv. 9-10)
B. When we are protected by the Lord, rejoicing is the result (v. 11a)
C. When we are trusting in the Lord, we glory in Him (v. 11b)
D. When we are blessed by God in our life, deceivers are defeated (v. 11c)
