TEXT:  Ephesians 2:19-22

I. The all-inclusive family of God (v. 19)
A. Citizenship in the kingdom of God
B. Union with the saints of God
C. Inclusion in the family of God

II. The singular common foundation of God’s family (vv. 20-21)
A. There is only one foundation of faith
B. There is only one family of God every believer is part of
C. In Christ we are the temple of God (v. 21; II Corinthians 6:16)
1. We build our Christian life on the foundation Christ (I Corinthians 3:9-15)
2. He lives in us as His Temple by His Spirit (I Corinthians 6:15-20)
3. God wants to use us in the building of His church (I Peter 2:2-12)
4. God wants us to grow in holiness to His glory (II Peter 3:18; I Peter 2:2, 5, 9)

III. The uniqueness of the individual local assembly (v. 22)
A. The unique focus on the local assembly
B. The common identity as the dwelling of God
C. The common tie through the Spirit of God
