TEXT: Psalm 51:10-13

I. Salvation
A. If you know you are not saved, get saved (II Peter 3:9)
1. God wants you to be saved (Titus 2:4, 11)
2. Jesus died so you can be saved (John 10:9, 11)
3. Satan wants to keep you from salvation (John 10:10)
B. If you are not sure you are saved, make sure
1. God wants you to know for sure (I John 5:10-13)
2. God’s Word will help you know for sure
3. God’s Spirit will help you know for sure (Romans 8:14-17)
C. If you know you are saved, live like you are a child of God (I John 2:6; Ephesians 5:1; I Peter 1:15-16)

II. Surrender
A. God’s will for your life is not only to save you (Ephesians 2:8-10)
B. Surrender to God’s will for your life to His glory
1. Mary was surrendered to God’s will for her life (Luke 1:38)
2. Jesus was surrendered to God’s will for His life (John 4:34)
3. Jesus taught us to pray for God’s will to be done on earth (Matthew 6:10)
4. Every child of God needs to be surrendered to His will for their life (Psalm
116:16; 199:38; 125; Ephesians 6:6; I Peter 4:2; Hebrews 13:20-21; I Thess. 4:3; 5:16)

III. Separation
A. Separation from the children of Satan (II Corinthians 6:14-18)
B. Separation from the philosophies of the ungodly (Psalm 1:1-3)
C. Separation from this world (John 15:19)
D. Separation unto God’s glory (I Peter 2:9-12)

IV. Service
Serve the Lord joyfully in thankfulness and gladness (Psalm 100)
A. Serve the Lord with the spiritual gifts He has given you (Romans 12:3-6)
B. Serve the Lord with the help of the Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 12:4-7)
C. Serve the Lord in His church for the benefit of the church (Ephesians 4:16)

V. Sacrifice
A. Jesus offered Himself to God as a sacrifice acceptable unto God (Ephesians 5:2)
B. We are to offer ourselves as a sacrifice acceptable unto God (Romans 12:1-2)
1. Worship is a sacrifice of time
2. Giving is a sacrifice of finances
3. Service is a sacrifice of energy
