AM: “THE SATISFACTION OF CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS FOR ALL PEOPLE”

TEXT:  LUKE 2:8-21

    1. The angels declared the joy Jesus came to bring to all people     Luke 2:8-10
      1. They brought the message of good news to mankind
      2. They brought the message of great joy to mankind
      3. They brought God’s message to be for all people
    2. The shepherds heard the message of the Christ of Christmas    Luke 2:11-12
      1. Christ was born unto mankind
      2. Christ was born to be the Saviour of mankind
      3. Christ was born as the Messiah prophesied for centuries in the Old Testament     Isaiah 7:14;  Micah 5:2;  Isaiah 9:6-7
    3. The message of Christmas is all about making Christ known    Luke 2:13-21
      1. The angels made known what they knew to be true about Jesus
      2. The shepherds made known what they had experienced to be true about Jesus
      3. The true believers in Jesus today are to be making known what they know also
