TEXT: Luke 1:26-38

I. Surrender to God’s will for your life (vv. 26-33)
A. God will make His will known to you if you are available (vv. 26-27)
B. God will make His will known to you if you are faithful (v. 28)
C. God will make His will known to you if you are listening (vv. 29-33)

II. Surrender to God’s work in your life (vv. 34-38)
A. What God can do with us often doesn’t make sense to us (v. 34)
B. What God is able to do in us is beyond our ability to achieve (v. 35)
1. Birth without a male and a female is beyond our ability
2. Salvation of a sinner from the death of their sins is beyond our ability
3. God’s holiness in us to make us right in His righteousness in beyond our ability

C. What God wants to do through us seems impossible to us (vv. 36-37)
D. What God will do to His glory in our life begins with surrender (v. 38)

III. Surrender to God’s wonderfulness through your life (vv. 39-45)
A. God’s wonderfulness is experienced by surrendering to His Spirit (vv. 39-41)
B. God’s wonderfulness is displayed in His will being accomplished (vv. 42-43)
C. God’s wonderfulness is enjoyed in His children when they trust Him (vv. 44-45 )
1. John jumped for joy in the womb of Elisabeth because Messiah was in Mary
2. Messiah was in Mary because Mary trusted the message from God to her
3. We enjoy God’s will being done in us when we believe His Word and surrender to His will in our lives to His glory
