Text:  2 Corinthians 1:1-12

Introduction:  2 Corinthians 1:1,2

1. Comfort in tribulation in the Lord    2 Corinthians 1:3,4;  Proverbs 31:28
   1. Thanking God for His comfort in our troubles
   2. Thanking God for His ability to help us in our need
   3. Thanking God for helping us to help others
2. Consolation in the result of tribulation    2 Corinthians 1:5-7
   1. As sufferings abound, so consolation abounds
   2. Affllictions for the consolation of another
   3. Steadfast assurance in the promises of God
3. Communication of the troubles of life     2 Corinthians 1:8-11
   1. Share the troubles you have had
   2. Share the faith in God that they built
   3. Share your faith in God’s Salvation
   4. Share your faith through mutual prayer

Conclusion:     2 Corinthians 1:12;  John 17:15-16
