Resurrection Sunday     April 20, 2025
TEXT: Matthew 28:1-10

I. Fear not (vv. 2-5)
A. There are surprises in life that can be fearful (v. 2)
B. The same event can bring fear to some and comfort to others (v. 5)
C. Truth from God helps us not to fear but to rejoice (vv. 6, 10)

II. Come see (vv. 2, 6)
A. They came to see Jesus on the first day of the week (v. 1)
B. They saw the empty tomb because they came to Him (v. 6)
C. They heard the message of God’s messenger because they came (v. 7)

III. Go tell (vv. 7-10)
A. They were told to go and tell the message they were given
B. They obediently went to tell others the message they were given
C. They were blessed by their Saviour as they were obeying His will

Action Points:
1. Are you in fear today or benefiting from God’s love to fear not?
2. Have you come to see and hear of Jesus’ sacrifice for sin and eternal life to be received as His gift of love.
3. Are you going and telling others of the new life they can have in Christ?
